Cannot install in Joomla!

Hi, I'm trying to install galler2 with Joomla! and it keeps throwing me errors. One says it cant find Joomla! XML setup file and the other says it cant find /install_43a9b4525f8ff/gallery2/ These also incurred with Mambo. I've tried with both the full and typical versions of 2.0.2 and 1.5 with them all throwing the same errors. Any ideas? |

Gallery2 and Joomla are complete applications on their own. You will need to unpack the gzip file you downloaded for Gallery2 and upload those files to your webserver. Create a new folder 'gallery2' in the same directory that contains your Joomla installation. Copy the unpacked G2 files to that new folder. Run the G2 installation program like you did for Joomla by accessing http://www.yoursite.com/gallery2/install
Once you have G2 up and running you can install the bridge component that will connect Joomla and Gallery2. Download com_gallery2_v2.0.10updated.zip from the site listed below and install it using Joomla's component installer.
