Updates module: show only new pictures for selected albums

Hi,

I would like to customize the updates module to select which albums to search for new pictures.

Basically, I have two kinds of albums:
- 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, etc. (physical albums)
- animals, sea, flowers, etc. (logical albums where I made links from physical albums).

I would like to only show new pictures from the physical albums. Is it possible ?

easiest might be to modify the query in ShowUpdates.inc to exclude links..

Making the showupdates.inc to work exactly like view latest comments would be the best. Wherever you click on it it will only display the latest comment overall in that current album. Though even Gallery 1.51 didn't have that feature.
