Applet/Remote upload freezing in G2

I have been using G2 for quite sometime, and have been plagued by an issue I've been unable to resolve. When uploading a large amount of images either via the web based java app, or with GalleryRemote, after about 40 images the upload process locks up and I have to close my browser and restart picking up at the point where it locks up. This has happened to me in OSX 10.4, WinXP with a variety of browsers, so it is not machine specific. I have the most current gallery release with PHP and MySQL. I am having no other issues with other non-gallery PHP/MySQL backed sites, so it's not an issue on my server.

I am uploading to a machine on my local IP block, so the machine isn't timing out, and the process isn't hanging on the server. I am able to upload about 3 sets of 15-20 images before I have to restart.

This happens with varied sized images, from a few hundred K up to 3M images, and I have my max image size set to 256M. Is there an option for buffers or something else that I am overloading in G2?
