broken thumbnails after migrating from G1 to G2

I upgraded from G1 to G2 today using 'fantastico'. Everything went well except that I have no thumbnails for any picture. The full size pictures are there when you click on the broken thumb image, but no thumbnails. I've tried recreating through the 'edit album' and 'edit photo' as well as through 'site admin' and 'maintenence'. None of these things have worked. I also verified that I have ImageMagick, GD and NetPBM and tried the 'site admin' with all three at the top of the 'priority' list.

I've perused a lot of the faq trying to fix my problem myself, but have been unable to come up with a fix. I'm pretty much a newbie, so talk really really slowly please ;)

My gallery is at: *edited out*

I get this error:
*edited out* when I navigate to *edited out* . I upgraded using 'fantastico' so I am unable to figure out where these 'missing objects' would have come from or where to get them.

I get this error:
*edited out* repeated over and over and over when I run 'site admin'>'rebuild thumbs and resizes'. The only thing that changes is the name of the toolkit when I have something else picked as top priority.

Ok, I think that's everything that I know :) Thanks in advance for any help that you can give me!!!

Did you try uploading a new image to your gallery? Did that work?

ummm, I got so caught up in the other things that I didn't even try that. I'll do it right now....

ok, that thumbnail is broken too.

I decided to go back and try each image toolkit seperately again. It seems as though that fixed the problem for the moment.

I am attempting to migrate to G2 (ver 2.1) from a functioning version of G1 (ver 1.5.2-pl2). I am having a lot of trouble with numerous broken thumbnails. This is happening whether I import an existing album from G1, or upload images to a new album using Gallery Remote. If I check "recreate thumbnails" and "recreate resized images" it often fixes the problem, but not always.

dwdod, turn off gd and try again. Post any problems in a new thread.
