Gallery Framework Basics - Looking for an old forum topic

hi i'm new to g2 development. recently i found a link to a topic on this site about the gallery framework, it explained all the parts of gallery and what they do (i.e. factories, entities, items etc) it was very useful. i didn't bookmark it thinking i'd find it and for the life of me can't find it.

the explainations were quite long and i've not read it all. i know this is a shot in the dark but if anyone knows which topic i'm talking of can you pls send me the link.
