I have tons of albums under my old version of gallery, which has been crashed ever since I tried to upgrade it. I am wondering if I can drag those albums into an upload folder in G 2 and use them to create new versions of the old albums? I know I'd lose all of the original view counts and user info, but can I import the image files this simply under G 2? If so, I can just tell my users that they have to create NEW albums to add more photos, which I'm fine with... |

you'd have to copy the albums from the g2data/albums folder to another folder since you can't add items from server from a path in g2data/ .
1. copy albums
2. either delete the whole g2 to start fresh or just delete some albums that you want to delete
3. add item -> from server to add the albums that you just copied.
