Email notice for new upload, list of new pictures.

I would like to sugest that it is important for the author to receive an e-mail for every image upload. For example if you run a small website with a small group of users (friends, family, etc.) then it is not very impotant to receive a notice but if you run a website with many users with hundreds of images then how can you found the new images in order to check the content of them? Another sugestion is to found a way to list the new images in the first page as like MSN communities, in order to encourage the visitor to come back to see if there is something new. :cool:

Yes the e-mail notice is working. About the new pictures it would be nicer if there was a way to list for example the last 5 new pictures from all the albums in one page. An example is this link of MSN comunities http://groups.msn.com/ParaglidingandHangGlidinginCyprus Is there any way to list the new pictures with this way?
