I found interesting to get also one upload option in G2 - from Picasa, so
googled, go 2Google, and downloaded Picasa2. I'm dummy in it, and my problems is,
that

I didn't find, how I could EXPORT from Picasa (to import then jpeg in g2)?
I found a command like "Export pictures to folder..." that makes jpeg + ini.file.

I didn't find any XML or archive support. Who can help me export photos from P2?

I've never actually done it, but I think picasa saves the xml file in the album folder it creates. you don't so much export from picasa as you do import the picasa folder into g2.

It is per album, Picasa should have an albums folder of sorts with folders for the albums that images are in. I'm pretty sure there should be an xml file in each one of these folders.

hi Continental,

look at this:
http://gallery.menalto.com/node/39676?highlight=picasa

1. Create Picasa XML per export to website -> in the following dialog: XML
2. Pack the folder with the .xml file to a zip
3. Go to "Add items"
3. Choose "Picasa", search your local .zip and add it

I tried this but got the following errors:

Warning: opendir(F:\gallerystorage\tmp\tmp288.tmp.dir\): failed to open dir: Invalid argument in F:\web\gallery2\modules\core\classes\GalleryPlatform.class on line 438

Warning: unlink(F:\gallerystorage\tmp\tmp288.tmp): No such file or directory in F:\web\gallery2\modules\core\classes\GalleryPlatform.class on line 545

Gallery works flawless otherwise. Any idea what the error is?

EDIT: Seemed to have to do with the way I zipped (I was one folder level to high). But as usual swedish characters gets all garbled...*sigh*

Cheers,

C
