In the Slideshow on Gallery 1.5.2, you can only advance to the next or previous picture by letting the slideshow feature do it for you. It would be convenient to have a next / previous button that allows you to manually move between photos without having to rely on the timed Slideshow event. This feature has been requested by some of our teachers who wish to do presentations to their classes using photos already uploaded into Gallery, but find that the start / stop is a little cumbersome. And who don't want to take the time to learn PowerPoint. ;) -Patrick |

Gallery 1.5.3 will have so called Access Keys.
Like you can press ALT+N for next picture.
But there are alread the navigation Buttons ... so what Buttons would you like ???

See the attached rough example. This would allow manually going to the next or previous image if so desired without having to press play on the slideshow button. While this does the same thing that browsing an album would, it would also allow the random image arrangement and cross-album selection to take place.

i see. Thanks for the example, its pretty good.
So you want "delay": 0 / forever and instead use the buttons.
- So you can use nice transition effect in IE.
- And/Or use the random feature of the slideshow
Is this your intension ?

Yes, while still keeping the ability to use the time delays if desired.
