Can I convert existing Gallery 2 to embedded Gallery component?

Hello All,

I am running Mambo 4.5.3 (with Apache 2.0.54, PHP 4.4.1, MySQL 4.1), and I've already built a nice application using the 'stand-alone' Gallery 2. I was going to access Gallery by wrapping it in Mambo in an iFrame (which is a less than ideal solution). After working hard to customize my Gallery 2 application I realized that a Mambo component has already been developed for directly embedding Gallery into Mambo.

Is there a method for "transferring" my existing stand-alone Gallery 2 database and templates into the embedded component?

Hi,

you can use your existing Gallery2 for embedding (if they are installed on the same server).
The component is "only" the bridge between Gallery2 and Mambo.
