Please fill out the following form and take a look at the linked pages. The more information you supply, the better we can help you.
All of the files and database info from our previous install were nuked. I have everything now up and running with the latest version of phpBB and Gallery 2.0.2 imbedded within the forum. However, when I attempt to migrate my albums, I am not having much luck. I have a sinking feeling that I am going to have to reinstall Gallery 1 to get this to work, but since that seems sort of backwards to me, I figured I would post here first. I have a tremendous gallery for this forum -- we run a mother's website and have gobs of moms wanting to show off their families, so there are a LOT of albums and a lot of photos. When I try to import them to the new gallery, it will allow me to choose which albums to import. However, I always end up with a blank screen. When I go back and refresh the gallery, it turns out that some of the images have imported, but they are importing two or three times EACH and they are not including all of the nested albums before starting a new copy of the main album again. We have gone in and extended the script time to 600 and the memory to 90 (I think that is right... my husband (read:tech support) did this for me). I have tried only doing a few albums, but if I don't select the top album with the nested albums to import, they go into their own album... Can anyone give me any suggestions for how to import our albums into G2? It is so frustrating to have all of the photos and info RIGHT THERE... but not know how to make G2 see it and work with it. Any assistance is most appreciated. Sincerely, |

Just import one album/a few albums at a time. You should be able to put them wherever you want to in your G2.
The blank screen is usually a memory problem and you should get your husband to up it to something much higher. My test server stays at 512MB i think.
