RSS module questions

	I have a couple questions about the RSS module that is in G2.1 RC1. I have the simple feed option selected but I want the RSS to automatically appear in the browser. I've read that the RSS block will do this, but when I put that block in the sidebar it doesn't show in Firefox like Drupal does. Is this something that has to (or can) be coded into the theme for this to work? Also does the RSS block do anything if your only using the simple feed option? It appears to me that it doesn't.
