Retaining filename of uploaded files

Is there a way to retain the actual file name of the upload file (I don't mean the caption) so that when it is re-downloaded it has the same name? Currently Gallery changes it to aaa.jpg etc. |

Seen this in the config wizard (Page 2 - Step 3)?
