How to report a bug

In my estimation, a forum is a place where fellow users help each other applying the right settings and filling in the right parameters to use an application optimally. But a forum is not the right place to report a bug, is it. Is there a place where bugs can be reported, or are the makers of Gallery2 monitoring this forum and do they pick up bugs from here? If so, I would like to point at the bug I have described in this posting. |

i'll continue to discuss the matter in the other topic. it's not yet clear what causes your issue and it's obviously not reproducible on our development / production servers.
it's also not clear if the other user has the same issue.
bugs are filed on http://sf.net/projects/gallery/ but since your issue hasn't been discussed indepth yet and there's nothing that would help us to identify your problem, we'd close your bug right away since we can't reproduce it.
issues / weird errors are discussed in the forums. once we know more / can reproduce the issue or know why something happens, bugs are filed.
