I have no idea why this is not working. I have compiled a binary of FFMPEG and Gallery insists it is not a valid file. In the error report it is looking for the required GLIBC item (GLIBC_2.3). My host supports GLIBC_2.9.x and FFMPEG still will not work. I have been hacking away at this for 2 days now with no answers on why.
Can someone please tell me why this is not working? The version of FFMPEG was retrieved using an apt-get and is the current version as far as I know. I am running Gallery2.0.2 and using a custom theme based on Matrix.

My host was giving me the run around and only has GLIBC-2.2 not the current GLIBC-2.3.x
