Hi guys,
Got a few questions...
Just got the maps module downloaded and activated, but now running into problems.
My website is here. In the Map Admin area, what on earth do I put in for server name? My website URL or the IP address for the website? What goes into port#? I've tried just putting in mgkbull.da-bull.net and using 80 for port, but my problems really come into play when I try to view the map.
A popup says "The Google Maps API key used on this site was registered for a different web site. You can... blah blah blah" I've registered 4 different API keys and I always get the same error. Does it have to do with having the wrong server name? I mean I register the API under mgkbull.da-bull.net so it should cover all URL's under it, but to no avail. I've been working on this for hours and I'm frustrated to no end. Someone help me please! Thank you in advance.

Hello !

Try this:

Server name:mgkbull.da-bull.net
Port Number: 80
Key: ABQIAAAA6XFJQ83bN2_AljUYzYTYDxQpD5vvSMevOn9CE2Mg-oPmj64V9hRBzZPHqrR0coHKTxRz9MDGoNtGQQ

It should work then :-)
Let me know

Worth mentioning - there is some documentation about this...

Look HERE under 'The Map Key Management Feature'.

Feel free to improve it. :-)

This looks fine (one marker) on my system... using Firefox... but
produces the described behavior using IE. It appears to be an
error:

'this.M.width' is null or not an object.

Just use Firefox. :-) ;-)

Hmm... OK, anyone have any suggestions to make it work under IE?

Well, now my question is, why does only the states and the UK have streets? Is there a way to get streets for all of Europe?

You have to ask Google ;). The only things available to date are:

US & Canada
UK
And the city of Torino !

Maybe later we will have other countries ....

Also some time I will add the possibility to load you own maps (if you have them) and so you could basically scan some map of your for your area and have the road that are not provided my Google ;)

See you!
