Hi

Does anybody know if there is a possibility to have timed permissions ?

This would make some manual configurations obsolete.

Example:
Adding items to an album is permitted from 1st March until 31st March.
Adding ratings is permitted from 1st to 7th April.

Another question is if it is possible to hide ratings but add ratings, so that the user
is not misleaded by looking at the already posted votes? Then a rating could be shown after
a certain rating period.

you'd have to write a module to implement something like that.

but basically, it would also depend on a general scheduler / publishing process which isn't implemented in g2 yet.
