Upgrading Gallery embedded in a Mambo site? Any advice, anybody? Can this cause trouble?

Hi, there!

I would like to update my gallery from version:

gallery->version = '1.4.4-pl6';
gallery->config_version = 82;
gallery->album_version = 31;
gallery->user_version = 5;

to the current one.

My gallery is embedded into a Mambo site. Anybody having experiences upgrading from a gallery upgrade like that in a Mambo embedded site, giving me advice would be greatly appreciated. I was adviced by a tech-team that the upgrade could cause troubles in Mambo. That's why I'm asking.

define "current one". do you want to upgrade to gallery 1.5.x or to gallery 2.x?

u guess you'll lose all gallery 1 / mambo users in the process of a g1.x/mambo -> g2.x upgrade.
