Hello, again, maybe this is user error or misconfiguration.

I am not using any "grouping" settings.

The active cursor is not consistant if the thumbs option is enabled. Some of the links provide yellow markers, which change to red arrow when the thumbs are clicked. Others remove the yellow marker but do not provide a red flag. In the case of the markers I placed on Japan, the yellow markers go away and nothing appears.

My use of the markers is very simple and marker to marker, there is no configuration difference.

Yet they do not behave the same way?

ooo weird indeed .... It's a javascript and it point to a file that should change .... That's VERY confusing as of why it's nehaving that way :-)

I'll take a look at it and let you know, but mine seems to work ok

Ok I have found the problem .... it's related to the Dateline isseu with the API.

If you zoom-out you will see that the red arrow appears on the otherside of the world ... My guess is that those 3 markers are just at the dateline limit and because the arrow is slightly bigger in size it appears on the other side :-(

Try to enable the dateline fix in the AdminPanel but my guess is that you will then have the same issue with item in UK (if you ever go there).

This behavior is fixed with API v2 but the API isn't mature enought to be used just yet ....

I disabled the thumbs for the time being. Sounds like the 2.0 API fixes multiple things. I can wait. The behavior is a little strange for my visitors.

I had previously enabled the dateline option. And, I have been to the UK but have not yet scanned the pre-digital images to the Gallery ;-)

regards,
