g1 -> g2 redirect .htaccess blank

I'm migrating to Gallery 2, and I've got it set up and working well, and integrated into my existing site.

When I go to the Site Admin -> Gallery 1, it says " There are 1731 G1->G2 map entries", but when I go to download the .htaccess, I just get a blank file.

Anybody else experienced this problem? I did a search, but couldn't come up with anything.
