i couldn´t find a contribution that fits my problem.
when i surf to my mainpage or into my first album, my browser tells me,

Attention: Not Responding Script, if you want to see if the script continues, click
one of the following options:
Then i can choose between
Stop the Script or Continue

and both times, the requested pages are displayed correctly, but after an amount of time.
I don´t want that the user is asked after every click if he wants to stop the script or not.
So has anybody had this problem before. Is this a result of my huge album structure or too much photos?
i can´t really imagine. At some albums i have created about 150 subalbums but this is essentials and i can´t modify it. Is it the mysql database, or have somebody an other idea where the problem is. A friend of mine has opera and the browser doesn´t ask him anything, but the internet explorer has the same problems with my site.
I hope you got the problem, sorry for my bad german-english.

thanks for your time and support.

i found out that it was the hybrid theme that crushed my site. The JavaScript in this Theme is busy everytime you click on a link. i have to define my own theme, then it should work better? Does anybody know such a good designed theme like hybrid, which perform better. I like it very much, that you can hide all information and you just see the pictures and the highlights. perhaps soon, i will link a new theme for g2.1.
thanks for your interest ckdake

Hybrid can use up a lot of resources if you have a lot of images. Dig around in "User Contributions" on http://codex.gallery2.org/ for some themes.
