Would it be possible to not only put a quota on webspace but also on bandwith ?
Because bandwith is very expansive here and unlimited bandwith would kill me :)
I would like to give a gig orso free and after they have to subscribe for a little fee to compensate the bandwith use.
Is this possible ?

Offcourse it would be extra extra cool if this could be connected to a shop module orso so that its automated :)

it might be possible.. but this also sounds like a webserver feature and maybe not an application feature?

If you are using apache2 you can try the mod_bw, it works very well for me. http://bwmod.sourceforge.net/index.html

I use it as a general overall throttling mechanism. You can't tie it to a gallery user account, but you can restrict to the directory level.
