Can't use Russian

I am trying to use Russian language pack, and I want my Gallery not to have any information in English. For some reason I can't do it, and my Gallery 1.5 -- http://www.sibsalsa.ru/gallery/albums.php -- still has a lot of info in English. Here are settings that I have in Setup:

Default language: English (US)
Multi language mode: Gallery is only displayed in one language
Available languages: only Russian is checked
System locale selection required: russian

I did try to change the default language to Russian, but after that all I see in my Gallery and on the setup is Chinese (if you know what I mean).
