odd migration issue

I'm running 2 gallery installations - both 2.0 - I uploaded 2.1.1 to server to start the upgrade. One "installer" identified itself as 2.1 and all went well. The other "installer" identified itself as 2.0 and just goes into a loop after it "upgrades". I can't get rid of it even after deleting the 2.1.1 directory.
