Hello,
I just changed my OS (to debian3) and I want to keep - of course - my old albums and users. No problem for the albums. But where saves Gallery the user infos (passwd, name, permissions ...)?
I have the .dat-files. But so I just can login with the admin. I don't have my old users. If I take an old user and want to login - it says: Error: Invalid username or password
Gallery doesn't know my users any more :???:

Make sure you copied the albums/.users directory also. You can't move user databases between Windows and Unix, though you can move them between Unix flavors. So if your old system was Windows, then you're out of luck.
