Needed: "Up Album" link for image browsing

I am looking to add an "up album" icon into gallery2 navigation.

In browsing images, I would like to have a link to go up one level, preferably centered between the "previous image" and "next image" icons.

Seems intuitive, right?

In Gallery2, from what I can tell, the breadcrumb trail is the only way to move up one level to navigate the site.

How can I add this link (on image pages and album pages)?
