Admin password lost

Hi, it seems that I have lost something for I cannot login to my admin panel anymore. The problem seems to be that it accepts the password but after I am not logged in. I have tried to reinstall the gallery2 but the problem remains. After requesting to send the password to my email it did not arrive at all. I have tried to set the password in the config file but that does not work also. Is there a way to go to the database somehow and reset it there ? Can youhelp me out ?

- first delete your browser cookies, maybe it;s a cookie issue.
- 2nd take a look at config.php with your ftp program, the password is in there.

@upgrading: yes, similar to upgrades in G1. but do NOT delete g2data, the database or config.php. replace the rest. then run the upgrader.

Ok I have removed the cookies. It took some time, cash maybe, but now it seems to be ok. Thanks.
