we're at 77374 items total. We just switched from G1 to G2 this week, man, let me tell you, G1 and 70k pictures is a dog. Hopefully G2 will be less work. Anything bigger than this? I should probably plot our growth, but we've had this gallery up for about 3 years, last week when we moved to G2 we had 74k, just now it's 77k, so thats 3k pictures just this week.
FYI, this is a private gallery, just friends putting their stuff up, we have 71 users probably only 20 of those are active.

So, after this discussion, one of our members wrote a script to index galleries by their size (as reported by google) and came up with these results. These are by no means scientific, just an indicator.
