Don't Know Where To Start

I've been creating websites and using FTP for years, but never for anything quite like this. The instructions are a bit over my head. Evidently, I just missed the user-help-email offer, so I'm posting here to request that some kind person take me through it step by step.

I know that most of you here don't have the time for this, but it's important that I get this up for a guild website I'm in charge of.
