I have a .RM movie file I tried to upload to Gallery using Gallery Remote. The upload completes and then is immediately rejected.
From searching the help it looks like this problem was fixed in 2004 -- any ideas where I should look to allow this type of file to be uploaded?
At the moment I don't have telnet/SSH access to the server since I'm not the administrator but can get it if necessary.
Thanks,

Isn't a .rm file just a text file that points to a .ram or .sgml file?
Example .rm file?

Floridave - it's the other way around. a .RAM file can be used to
point to a .RM file.

An example of how a web server deals with this can be
found at:

Though that is not my question -- I need to know where the
restriction in Gallery is that is blocking uploads of this
type.
Once that is solved how the video file is seen by someone
will probably be my next question (how gallery handled a
small windows media file was less than stellar).

I can upload .rm files:

Perhaps you want gallery to make a thumbnail for that mime type?
Some things you can try;
enable the thumbnail manager
in the thumbnail manager add "audio/x-pn-realaudio" and give it a thumbnail.
Now if you want to have the real player embedded in the page then that is another story.
