I have the latest joomla, the latest gallery2 and the latest gallery2 bridge as of 7-11-06. My problem is figuring out when a user creates their user album, how do they add items to that album. I have tried enabling the sidebar, but it still doesn't enable users to add files.
Does anyone have a similar setup that registered users can upload to their new user albums through the bridge (without accessing the gallery directly)? Even as the admin, I don't have any way to add photos through the bridge.
Is there something that I am missing? Or is the bridge not capable of interfacing with the "add items" area located within the gallery interface?

I'm wondering if you ever figured this out. I'm having the same issue and can't find a way for my users to add images to their album from Joomla using community builder.

My end result is that I limited my users to the windows XP uploading, gallery remote and the HTTP upload. This basically allows them to interact with the gallery directly (non-bridged) without them really understanding that they are. I had all of the rest of the options working at one point, but I found that my coding changes started to cross back and forth between joomla/bridge/gallery and the "little issues" started to pile up.
I am currently in the process of filtering all of my coding changes into only the bridge component and will be trying to determine if the brige or gallery has issues. Most will probably have to do with the bridge, but Gallery does have issues when it comes to internal permissions and ownership.

I am hoping that you can help me since I too recently installed the latest version of Joomla and Gallery2. I have been trying to figure out how to have my users only login once where after they login thru Joomla, they need not login in again to access the pics that I have in Gallery2. I have noticed throughout the forum about a 'bridge' where can I get the latest 'stable' copy. Downloads I've found are either obsolete or beta. Are your users able to login only once?
