zphoto: a flash-based photo album generator

Hi guys/gurls,

I'm currently new to gallery2 but I have found it works really well with my Linux based web host. I use Joomla also and have tried the bridge component. My home PC is Windoz XP.

Anyway cutting to the chase, a friend of mine at work has recommended to me zphoto (available in both windows and Linux). Check out a sample gallery that it has produced http://namazu.org/~satoru/zphoto/sample/

Essentially it can produce a flash based gallery similar if not identical to that of the very popular flickr which Yahoo purchased recently.

Now I'm not a programmer but assuming that this app runs on linux (it is opensource too) I was told that a bit of php scripting could allow this app to be web enabled rather than just a desktop app run locally. If you want more info on the tool then this is the link, http://0xcc.net/zphoto/

Please can I introduce this as a topic for discussion and what might be involved in enabling a module that wouold allow gallery2 to tap into this tools flash creation ability via the linux based app & php scripting.
