Migrating G1 Comment Authors to G2 Still Not Working, Even With The Patch [Solved!]

I am once again attempting to migrate a G1 install to G2. One of my requirements is that the authors of the comments in G1 are preserved in G2. I have read this thread: http://gallery.menalto.com/node/36956, I have followed this bug: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1366600&group_id=7130, I have applied this patch: http://tools.gallery2.org/pastebin/317. Now when I import an album with comments, I get Fatal error: Call to a member function getId() on a non-object in /modules/migrate/ConfirmImport.inc on line 1151. I believe this patch was written before v2.1 was released, so maybe something changed and the patch no longer patches everything properly. Has anyone successfully migrated G1 comments and authors to G2? If so, any help would be greatly appreciated. Andy |

I upgraded to the very latest stable version tonight, re-applied the patch, same error.
I then browsed the source code and found the patch has been integrated there, yet not in the stable releases, so I downloaded a newer ConfirmImport.inc here: http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/gallery/trunk/gallery2/modules/migrate/ConfirmImport.inc?revision=13639&view=markup (the download link was broken so I copied and pasted) and on my initial test run, IT WORKED!
I'm feeling pretty good about G2 again, I just hope I don't have to come back and say I spoke too soon.
