This is probably a way to do this already, but I couldn't find it anywhere on this site. I want to set up two new pages (more like pseudo-albums) in my gallery: one for the most recent pictures, and one for the most viewed. The "most recent" is higher in my priorities. Is there a way to mess with the imageblock module to achieve this? Any help on this is greatly appreciated. And I hardly know any php (just enough to mess something up with), so if it involves using it, I'd also appreciate some details. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ |

Anyone? I did find some scripts by pixelchimp that will do this for G1, but the required files don't exist in G2.

I use http://codex.gallery2.org/index.php/Gallery2:User_Contributions
view down to the Modules section to the 'Updates/HorsePunchKid' line.
My site uses a modification of an older version of his module and shows
the 36 most recently updated images. You're on your own for the most
viewed thingummy, I don't go in for that sort of thing as bots pretty
well completely invalidate the so-called hits intelligence.
----best wishes, Robert

Thanks for that, I had checked there, but I guess I didn't read carefully/thouroughly enough.
Unfortunately, I can't use it until I resolve the database errors I'm getting now with my gallery.
