Localization in 2.x doesn't work for me at all

Dear all,

I have most recent stable gallery2 build 2.1.x and I can't make my gallery show any other languages exsept english.

I read everything in the Forum about and still nothing works.
Please feel free to try out by yourself.

Any step by step trouble-shooter?

I am using Linux based account in WestHost.

Running php-5.x + Gnu + compiled gettext package but uselesss.

Hi,

that looks good so far.
Maybe the so called "locales" are not installed.
Do you have access to a command line ?
If yes. Do a "locale -a" and paste the output here.

You are right, looks like really was missing "locale" package on my account.
I asked to add this support for my account in WH.
I keep you update.

Hi Jens,

Well for now I have /usr/lib/locale/ with all the aproparate language and looks like translation working fine with Russian and Hebrew.
My .bashrc look like this:
LINGUAS="heb he_IL he_IL.utf8 ru_RU.koi8r ru_RU.utf8 ru en "; export LINGUAS

What is weird that while clicking "register new user" in hebrew mode it show english feilds - no translation. but While clicking on "Account setting" in hebrew mode so everything is in proper language.
All kind word here and there without translation. DO you know anything about ? Should be hebrew lang pack be fully translating like Russian does ?
It's important that just to spite "registration" page will be well translated

I hope you could help me with this one.
