I'm looking to install Gallery onto my w2k server running Apache ver 2.039, php 4.2.2, and mysql 3.23. I see that there is no support for the win32platforms due to the testing limitiations and would like to assist in that if possible. Once, or if, I can get this installed onto my server, which I host by the way, I be more than happy to share this with the forum to aid future win32 platform users of the product.
The reason I'm writing now is because of some confusion I'm getting from the readme that comes with the zip.
It doesn't mention whether I need to upload the contents of the Photo_Gallery folder to the root of my web server. Is it assumed that I've already done this or do I need to simply run the DOS commands from the directory I downloaded the zip to?
Am I right in assuming that the netpbm folder should be placed inside of the winntsystem32 directory?
I saw mention of a problem in the forums of there being a problem w/php ver4.2.2. Is this still an issue?
ANy response is appreciated.

We support Gallery on Windows, provided you're on one of WinNT, Win2K or WinXP. We don't support Win98. Nor do we support Apache2.0. Not even PHP is supported on Apache2.0.
You refer to a Photo_Gallery folder. What folder is that? We don't ship anything with that name.
Also, there are instructions in the User Guide for installing NetPBM on Windows.

I run vbPortal ver3.0 on my site and saw that there was a version of Gallery modified for it. The instructions for downloading netpbm seems outdated. I downloaded netpbm ver10.6 from sourceforge but didn't see libjpeg. I'm also not running any version of netpbm or Gallery on my server.
I'd like to be able to integrate this into vbPortal and include a random image on the home page.
