I generally have 1280 x 960 resolution photos, which is fine as it is auto-fit to the browser window (gallery does this) ... however in slideshow view it displays the full image, which is no good for those old farts with low resolution's set ! (lowering the res of my pictures is not a possiblilty
any ideas?
love the software.

The only way to fix this is to modify the slideshow code.
By the way, fit-to-window is probably going away in G2. It's an incredibly painful piece of code to maintain.

Looks like my question has been asked before, but I can't find a direct answer anywhere ... :-?
Like others, I generally have large resolution pictures which are handled wonderfully by the normal gallery individual picture functions. However, when using SLIDESHOW, it seems to always grab the full size original image for display. I'd like to be able to force slideshow to use a consistently sized image display instead.
I would be willing to tackle some code if that's what it would require. But I thought it would probably already have been done. Anyone have that information?
Thanks,
-Robert

Is fit-to-window a way to get the image in the web browser by itself (i.e., going to the source of the image)? If so, how do I enable it? I've been looking for a gallery proggie that has that feature. Zoph has that feature, but I cannot get it to work on my server.
The slideshow resizing photos to fit within specific dimensions seems like another necessity to me. Certainly, it makes for an "easy on your eyes" display, instead of each image jumping outside of the borders of the web browser.
I'm all for these two features!
