Here's a funny 'bug'. If you produce some jpgs from iView Media Pro 3 complete with embedded captions etc Gallery Remote will not 'see' the embedded data i.e. it won't pull the caption from the jpg and place it in the right field. If you produce the same jpg from Photoshop, Gallery Remote DOES see the caption and pulls it out and puts it in the field ready for upload complete with title etc. Now, if you take the jpg made by iView and open it in Photoshop and do nothing other than save it again you will find that Gallery Remote now 'sees' the captioning which was there all along and correctly puts it in the title for the picture. So, there is something which Gallery Remote can't see when handling certain types of EXIF / IPTC in jpgs. Has anyone come across this before and might anyone know of a solution? --- |
