side bar clutter G2 embedded with joomla

can anyone tell me how to change the way the side bar looks, all the links (add item, add album, edit album ect.)are just jumbled togeather and I'd like them list as one link per line instead. I am using matrix theme in the gallery. it dosent seem to matter if I'm using the joomla g2 side bar module, or just allow the side bar to be seen in the gallery page, it is the same jumbled mess. I have looked thru the filesystem but havent found the file that controls this
