G1 RSS content

I'm thinking of using an RSS reader to display newly uploaded photoes (thumbnails) like with photo feeds. I use Google Reader to do test. The default RSS setting in G1.5.2 is basic information only, no thumbnails are displayed. If I enable thumbnails in RSS configuration and upload photoes, thumbnails of all pictures in an updated album, old and new, are displayed. This is also undesired. Yet another option, "Album highlight", yields no thumbnails, i.e., no album highlight pictures.

Is this a limitation of RSS, a problem with Google Reader, or is there some way to customize? Can I get just new photoes?
