embedding gallery2 into joomla

Hello,

i'm a newbie in joomla and gallery2.
i installed joomla and gallery2 and try now to integrate gallery2 into joomla.
After installing com_gallery2_v2 i try to open configuration panel and get this error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: iserror() in /home/stampf/public_html/components/com_gallery2/classes/core.class on line 139

I'm searching installation guides for a step-by-step installation.
