problems with gallery2 as phpnuke home - everything else fine

ok so I recently installed phpnuke and gallery2 to my localhost without problems almost. gallery2 seems to work fine except if I make gallery2 the homepage. when you click on home any image is non existent. and if you click on any of the missing images the link is http://localhost/modules.php It is interesting to me that it reminds me of the wrong information that was automatically provided in the setup of the integration tool . it did not realise that my phpnuke was installed into a folder called nuke so the path was wrong. (of course the notes warn of this) a related issue seems to have materialised here somehow. now i dont know if the connection i am making is a spurious one as gallery2 works fine on its own. Im not summising anything, it just seems that somehow something is wrong with the path somewhere,somehow. Gallery works fine within phpnuke as long as it is not set as home and I cannot call up gallery from http://localhost/nuke/modules/gallery2 I need to put the main.php , that doesnt concern me as I realise I would need to adjust apache settings to set main.php as a default i suppose. Am i wrong for trying to put gallery as the home. Is there something else wrong perhaps. This is not the biggest problem and can be worked around I am just testing it out. As I have come across the issue , I was interested to find out the cause. I am sure by finding out more , that will teach me more about phpnuke and gallery2. ive attached my phpinfo as I am running offline.
