Just another peculiar situation. I use permissions to control who can view full-size in an album. When a picture is smaller than or the same size as the album's default resize-to size (say the sized length defaults to 640 and the picture is only 640x480), people without permission to view full-size pictures can only view the thumbnail. When they click on a thumbnail (a link without ?full=1), they are redirected to the same page. This is undesirable because the purpose of the control is over quality of viewable pictures. I would permit people not allowed to view larger originals to view small originals. So I expect Gallery to produce a "sized" version (for watermarking and what not) that is the same size as original in this case. Is this what other people expect? I have problems to understand what you say.
What i understood is this:
- You do not allow people to see the fullsize version of pictures
- you set resized size to 640
- you have pictures that are smaller then 640
- people can not see those pictures
Did i understand you correct ?

Also I do not understand.
The pictures do not appear in big the size… but cannot correct this!

Jens: your understanding is correct. I expect people to see a version larger than thumbnail.

So Gallery behaves exactly like you told it.
"Don't show the fullsize"
If no resized is there .. there is nothing to show.

Well, Gallery is behaving as designed - that's why the question ended up in suggestions & feedbacks

Oh, hehe.
I apology.
I will think about. Could you create a RFE for this on our Sourceforge site ?
Assign it to me (JensT)
