I have been trying to install from directory in joomla. I keep getting the error "Installation file not found:
/home/josey/public_html/administrator/components/com_installer/component/gallery2/
[ Continue ... ] "

I have installed gallery2 on accounts on this server before. I'm running joomla 1.0.11

I'm also on a mac. I'm trying to remember if I had to unzip and rezip the files before upload? Has anyone experienced something like this? I have tried typical and full version downloads. .zip and gz whatever.

I also can't install on my local MAMP server with out install errors?

Any ideas? Thanks.
