I've tried unsuccesfully to use the localization system in order to have my cutomized theme in two languages, after few hours and a lot of paracetamol tabs I couldn't get it working.... Far way out my knowledge and capacities
So I'd like to use what his for me the simpliest way.
I'm making a website in two languages (English and french), therefore I have two different set of pages, one in each language, correct me if I'm wrong but it's like having two different websites in the same hosting location no?..
I'm using for Gallery a customized version of the slider theme that fit in the general layup of my site.
Pretty simple so far...
My question: if I clone the slider theme (and of course customize it) can I use it as a translated version for the site?
What I mean is basically having my 2 web sites sharing Gallery but using different theme, is it possible?
Thanks for your help

I would also like to know if a multi-site implementation supports the use of modified (embedded) themes for each site using gallery. For instance, if I have www.anything.com which has an embedded gallery using the matrix theme, then I want to have www.something.com also use the matrix theme, but a diff customized version of it...is this possible if they are setup in a multisite gallery2 config? If not, I can simply install separate gallery instances for each, but if so...this would be nice. Please inform.
