Problem uploading using Intel Mac Pro

Loaded Gallery Remote 1.5.1-b28.

Used Darwinports to load imagemagick and modified im.properties accordingly.

Can connect to server and view current album structure and can even fetch pictures arleady on server.

When I drop pics from iPhoto and try to upload however it just sits on "Preparing to upload" forever.

Same setup works from my Windows box so I'm pretty sure it's not a server issue.

Any help appreciated, anything I can do to help diagnose pls let me know.
