[SOLVED] Upgraded Gallery2 not showing graphics in Site Admin, etc.

I've been running a multiuser/multisite Gallery2 install for some time. I recently installed a new gallery user site and noticed that the site admin for the "new" gallery had all of the nice graphics and icons on both the site admin pages as well as the standard gallery pages.

These look great, and I'd like my "old" Gallery2 sites to display the same, but I can't find mention of how to do that in the FAQ or install docs. Did I miss something?

I'd appreciate any pointers, etc.

you'll need to to activate the icons module for each of those multisites.

Well, the icons module is already activated for the multisites. The thing that's weird is that new items that I upload get the appropriate icons associated with them, but none of my "legacy" items have icons attached.

Also, the new multisite has icons next to all of the Site Admin tasks, while the "older" sites just have the text with no icons associated.

I'd already tried deactivating and reactivating the icons module with no change in behavior.

not sure we're talking about the same stuff.
please post a link to a page that has those "icons" and a link to one that hasn't such icons.

also:
consider clearing your browser cache.
and clear your g2 page cache (site admin -> performance).

Sorry for the delay in posting the followup.

Anyway, if you take a look at the main page of both http://gallery.bersche.com and http://sologallery.bersche.com you'll hopefully notice what I'm talking about. The gallery URL is one that's been running the 2.X release for some time, and well before any icons existed on the left (either on the main page or SiteAdmin). The sologallery URL is one that I just recently built on the same server, same codebase, etc. just with a new virtual server and then imported images from Gallery 1.X. As you can see, the icons show up on the main page, and you'll have to take my word that they're also there in the SiteAdmin :-)

I'm just curious how I can get the gallery site to have the same look/feel as the sologallery site. The Icons are a nice touch in both the main pages and especially in the SiteAdmin, but I've not been able to find anything on how to get them to show up on older upgraded sites.

activate (not just install) the icons module in "site admin -> modules" for gallery.bersche.com.
then you can select an icons pack in site admin -> icons.

Ah, beautiful! I knew it had to be something simple that I was missing. I had the icons module installed and activated, but didn't realize that I had to select the Icon pack... Thanks! Everything looks better now!

Dredging up an old topic again.. but I have this problem now with a new installation after importing G1 data. I have installed and selected the icon pack.. but I get no icons... everything is text. Any suggestions?
