Community sorting module

Hello everybody,

I would like to develop a great module : a community sorting module (really ?), here is how I plan to make it work:

Someone (admin ?) upload a lot of pictures, but they are unsorted, and it is really painfull of sorting all those pictures.

So someone else (guest, registered user, ...) can sort the picture by simply entering some keywords (wallpapers, nature, ...).

BUT : this would work a little like wikipedia : every move can be undo, and every tag assignement can be backward analysed (sorry for my poor english).

Once someone (admin ?) think a picture is in the good section / album / ... he can lock it.

By this module sorting would be really faster.

I have seen that the trunk cvs version of gallery can use virtual album.

So maybe it will be usefull.

Can a gallery developer confirm it is actually possible ? and maybe guide me a little for developping this module ?
