floatrix theme top bar - eliminate info

I'm using floatrix and I have been able to customize the theme to integrate into my site, however the top banner that restates the name of the gallery and the date, and owner info I would like to get rid of. I also don't want a date for each photo, just a title. Any idea how to get rid of that info. I haven't found it anywhere in the settings. I suppose this would be the equivelent of a sidebar, but I don't want it at all, except maybe the search and the link that says |
