Pop-up functions with Netscape

Team Gallery:

I must be the only one on the planet left using Netscape - but my distaste for M$ products keeps things that way, even though it grows increasingly difficult. Gallery is the latest in a long list of Netscape-hostile content/apps - it seems that since I upgraded to 1.3.1, I am no longer able to manage my Gallery using Netscape (6 - although the same behaviour seems to be occur with 4.7).

Here's what happens: Any time a new window should pop up (for example, "Add Photos", "Delete Album", etc - quite simply, nothing happens. Still works fine in IE - just not any of the Netscape browsers. Searched the FAQ and forum, but didn't see mention of the problem. Either I'm the only guy using Netscape, or there's something unique about my config which is preventing this - but either way, I'm at a loss.

Any thoughts/suggestions/questions are greatly appreciated - and, as always, THANKS for a great product!

Going to post my PayPal donation now, to show my support.

Thanks, and have a GREAT day!

I am not seeing any problems with popup windows under either Netscape 4.x or Mozilla ~1.0. I am running 1.3.2-cvs-b3. I am guessing it might be a problem on your end, although I can hardly rule anything out for sure.

Billy,

First of all, thanks for the donation!.

I do test Gallery with Netscape 4.x, especially since my wife uses that browser. This website looks like crap in it, I know, but the product works with NS4.x.

Getting an empty window may be a problem with Gallery losing your session. When Gallery fails a security check it actually just gives you a blank window (which is bad, but I never got around to implementing a nice failure in that scenario). When you get a blank window, is your session still active? Or do you have to log in again at that point?

I just checked my Gallery with NS 4.7. No error at all.
